Water analysis
Without an analysis, choosing a filter is guesswork. Hardness, iron, turbidity, chlorine: the whole line and its cost follow from those numbers.

◆Service 04 · Filtration
We take a water analysis, select a line to match what is actually in the water, install it and service it: mechanical filtration, softening, iron removal and a separate line for drinking.

Without an analysis, choosing a filter is guesswork. Hardness, iron, turbidity, chlorine: the whole line and its cost follow from those numbers.
Mesh and cartridge filters at the inlet. They catch sand and rust. Without them, everything downstream dies early.
An ion exchange softener. Hard water means scale in the boiler heat exchanger, in the cylinder and in the washing machine, plus more detergent than you should be using.
Wherever the water comes from a borehole. Iron leaves rust-coloured marks on the fittings, a taste in the water and stains on laundry.
BWT Slim under the sink: water for drinking and cooking kept separate from the utility supply, on its own tap.
Cartridge changes, regeneration, salt, checks on a schedule. A filter left unserviced works worse after a year than no filter at all.
Water in Tashkent and the surrounding region is hard. That is not an opinion — it is what you see in any heat exchanger opened up after a couple of years of service.
Limescale conducts heat tens of times worse than metal. A millimetre of it on the exchanger wall already means a noticeable amount of extra gas over a heating season.
A scaled boiler heats more slowly, cycles more often and fails early. And no manufacturer honours a heat exchanger warranty where scale is present — it is written into the terms.
So for us softening is not an optional extra but part of the heating system. Water treatment goes into the same design as the boiler room, rather than being bolted on later.

Scale in the kettle, white marks on the shower glass, deposits on the taps, laundry that comes out stiff — all of it points to hard water.
Only an analysis gives a firm answer. We take the sample on site and send it to a laboratory, then size the line from the result rather than from an impression.
Softening solves an equipment problem, not a drinking one: it removes hardness salts and adds sodium. Good for the kettle, not the point for a glass.
Drinking water gets its own line and its own tap. Different job, different equipment.
It depends on the hardness and on how much water you actually use. The same unit behaves quite differently in a household of two and in a house with a pool.
Consumption is calculated during selection and we put a year of it into the quotation, so it is not a surprise after commissioning.
Scale on the heat exchanger, output down, more gas burned and an early failure. On a wall-hung boiler the secondary exchanger shows it first.
The unpleasant part is that the manufacturer withdraws the warranty in that case. A softener costs less than one heat exchanger.
Yes, provided there is space at the inlet and somewhere to run the regeneration drain. Usually that means a services cupboard, a bathroom or the boiler room.
Where there is no space at all, we start with mechanical filtration and the drinking line — that gives an immediate effect and takes almost no room.
Leave a request — we will come out, take a water sample and come back with the composition and a selection. The visit and the calculation are free.
